Cocktail Saturday: Blue Margarita

While some of us still have salt being spread on our roads, wouldn't we all rather have the kind that accompanies a margarita?  I thought so.  It's a good time for a margarita!  This one is made with blue curaçao and it's as delicious as it is beautiful!

Ingredients:

2 oz Tequila
1 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Blue Curaçao
1 oz Fresh squeezed lime juice
Salt to rim the glass

Pour all ingredients except salt into a blender with a cup of crushed ice.  Blend and pour into a glass rimmed with margarita sugar.  I used lime sugar. Yum!

  1. Do you buy your lime sugar? My wife is looking into trying to make some because we haven't been able to find any.

    1. I buy it from a kitchen store up the street, but lately I've seen it at grocery stores with all the mixers. They have different flavors too!

    1. I have to get my CS post up earlier so people can make the supply run! ;) It is a good one; my husband and I each had two yesterday!
