Vagitarians Unite!
Woman power!
Strong and secure
Our finest hour
Tough, yet demure
Break the glass ceiling
Leave the men reeling
Erica Kane and fully able
And no...your dinner is not on the table
Getting home at five
The strong shall survive
Bringing home bacon
Frying it up in a pan
Never, ever, ever let you forget I'm a woman
Enjoli, my ass
Intelligence and sass
I'm not about gender
I'm not about roles
I feel fully empowered
Down to my Louboutin soles
I'd rather be known as a humanitarian
No, I'm not a man eater
But a proud vagitarian!

This is fantastic. I am a vagitarian also. I just agreed to audition for Vagina Monologues for what, the eighth time, just because it is so important for women to bond together, to declare sisterhood with other vagitarians, to change how we interact with each other.
ReplyDeleteBrava!
Thanks Julie! I agree, it's so important. That's amazing that you're auditioning for VM. I'd love to do that show. Break a...fallopian tube! ;)
Deletei'm not a vagitarian, but love this anyway! you keep me on my toes every day while reading your posts...GRAZIE!
ReplyDeleteAt least you're not one of those pushy kind. I find the poetic vegetarian much more palatable.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I read your post and loved it! Same wavelength sort of on that day. I try not to be pushy. Especially when it comes to my vagetarianism. LOL
